On January 4, 2024, the China Chamber of International Commerce held the 2023 China-Arab Joint Chamber of Commerce Chinese Council Meeting in Beijing. CHINAMEX once again won the title of Vice Chairman Unit. Mr. Wang Wei, Executive Deputy General Manager of CHINAMEX, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Wang Wei summarized CHINAMEX's successful cooperation projects in Arab countries: China Mechanical and Electronic Products Exhibition Center in Sharjah, Dragon Mart in Dubai, and Dragon City in Bahrain, which not only contributed to local economic development, but also established an important platform for economic and trade cooperation between China and the Arab region.
Wang Wei also elaborated on CHINAMEX’s recent plans. He said that Saudi Arabia is an emerging and rapidly developing market that has just reformed and opened up and is full of business opportunities. In 2024, CHINAMEX, together with its local partner, will open the "Dragon World Saudi Arabia" in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and will also launch the "China - MEA Auto Trade Center" project in Saudi Arabia. It is believed that these two projects will become new highlights of China-Arab cooperation. In addition, CHINAMEX has also established a project match-making platform, hoping that through our efforts, we can promote enterprises in China and the Arab region to strengthen cooperation and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
The China-Arab Joint Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit civil organization approved by the State Council and established in 1988 by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture for Arab Countries (GUCCIAAC).
