The successful 6th China-Arab States Expo, with the theme of "New Era, New Opportunities, and New Future" was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia on 21 September 2023. Chinamex, as a trusted group in the promotion of China Arab relations and a historically strong investor in the Arab world through its Dragon City and Dragon World projects, was invited to play a prominent role at this important event gathering high level and wide participation from China and the Arab World. Mr. Kong Jun, Deputy General Manager of CHINAMEX, was a prominent speaker at the "China-Arab States Green Energy Cooperation Dialogue" presenting "The Vital Role of Commercial Platform in China-Arab Green Energy Cooperation." Other distinguished speakers included Mr. Huo Jianguo, Vice President of the China WTO Research Association; Mr. Wang Nengquan, former Chief Economist of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation; and Mr. Ahmad Halaiqah, Investment Advisor of IKarus Petroleum Industries of Kuwait National Industries Group Holding.
In his address, Mr. Kong Jun discussed the strategic development of a green economy and the establishment of green platforms which are now a focus within Chinamex’ social responsibility endeavours. In recent years, CHINAMEX has been utilizing its business resources in both China and the Middle East to provide consultancy and matchmaking services for domestic and foreign enterprises with expertise, investments, and interests in the green energy and green industry. To further this endeavor, CHINAMEX plans to establish a "Green Product Marketing Center," and Dragon World Saudi Arabia ("DWSA") as a comprehensive platform for Chinese products, which shall serve as an ideal gateway for companies looking to enter the Saudi market. This center will encompass Chinese new electric vehicle business and sectors related to the EV industry's supply chain. Through means such as brand campaigns, technology promotion and application, as well as industry matchmaking, Chinamex will assist these companies in achieving their objectives of investing in and establishing assembly lines and supply chains, as well as recruiting and training professional talents in the Middle East. CHINAMEX is committed to contributing to China-Arab green energy cooperation, thereby providing greater impetus for more Chinese companies to enter the highly lucrative and promising Middle East market.
