CHINAMEX and the China Chamber of International Commerce (“CCOIC”) signed a cooperation framework agreement at the 6th China-Arab States Expo and the 5th China-Arab States Business Summit held in Yinchuan, Ningxia on the 21st of September 2023.  This strategic cooperation will lay the grounds for the two parties to effectively cooperate in providing Chinese groups with the needed investment promotion, marketing and consulting services enabling them to  expand globally under the visionary "Belt and Road" initiative. 

From September 21st to 24th, the 6th China-Arab States Expo, hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, took place in Yinchuan, Ningxia. As a significant event within the China-Arab States Expo, the China-Arab States Business Summit was held on September 21st, attracting considerable attention and wide interest. The meeting was attended by prominent figures, including Mr. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT; Mr. Chen Yong, Chairman of the Ningxia Political Consultative Conference; Mr. Ali Malik, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League Secretariat; and Mr. Khaled Hanafi, Secretary-General of the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. These dignitaries delivered speeches during the summit and witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements.

During this summit, the Trade Promotion Center of CCOIC and CHINAMEX signed the cooperation framework agreement, establishing the comprehensive partnership between the two parties, guided by the principles of complementary advantages and collaborative development.  The two parties will be closely cooperating to serve the Chinese companies’ interests in international expansion into new and existing markets, achieving concrete results and striving for win-win outcomes.

Within its aim of assisting Chinese businesses in going global, CCOIC has introduced the innovative concept of "Exhibition and Sales Integration" services. They have specifically chosen "Dragon World Saudi Arabia" (“DWSA”) as the sales platform to implement this concept, working hand-in-hand with CHINAMEX to provide "sales services" to Chinese companies.  Both CCOIC and CHINAMEX share the belief that the Saudi market has significant potential, and that the application of "Exhibition and Sales Integration" within DWSA will significantly facilitate the entry of Chinese companies and products into the Saudi market, in particular, and to the middle east region, in general. It will stimulate increased and long standing business and trade ties between China and the middle east region, consequently fostering bilateral investments, technological cooperation and exchanges for the mutual benefit of their economies and people.
